30 March, 2018 Speed skating country championship has come to the end in Astana city
Speed skating country championship in all-around was finished in capital city, reports Prosports.kz with reference to 24.kz.
There were 128 athletes from 8 regions who participated in final start of the season. According to the results of 4 distances, the champions among juniors were Anvar Mukhamadeev from Almaty and Ksenia Yakovleva from Ust-Kamenogorsk. Among adults, the best result was shown by North-Kazakhstani Ivan Arzhannikov and Ekaterina Aidova, Karaganda.
In fact, Ivan arrived in Astana from Minsk few days ago, where he won the title of world champion among students at the distance of 1500 meters. The head of the Kazakh team at the tournament was a famous skater Dmitry Babenko.

- The guys are involved, there are many children who come to the skates. I think, let not a year or two, but through the Olympics there will be a large number of interested people, there will be results. I'm sure of it. If there is a desire, everything will turn out.
